These are a few of my favourite things.

Today's post is dedicated to my current favourite items. I'm all for Jo Malone fragrences which is why I've included my two favourite scents, "Pomegranate Noir" and "Nectarine blossom and honey". There's something about the sweet scent that comes with the nectarine blossom and honey, if I could describe it in one sentence I would say that it reminds me of playing in the springtime sun. The pomegranate noir is the complete opposite, it's spicy and sexy, something I would say is perfect for date night. I also have the candle for this Fragrence and have it burning throughout my room because it's to die for!

The next favourite is Aesops, "rejuvenate intensive body balm", it's flavoured with vanilla, sandles wood and tangerine rind. The Aesop hand creams are heaven in a tube and particularly handy when the seasons change and the cold winter winds dry your hands out. They have a few different hand creams but this is by far my all time favourite.

The final product is a Chanel lipstick from the Rouge Coco Shine range in the colour "sourire". It's the most amazing pale coral/pink shade with specks of glitter throughout that give the lips a subtle glow. This lipstick is more of a glossy sheen and can be worn day or night as it is not over the top.

Wandering Alexandria.

About a week ago I made the trip to the Sydney suburb of Alexandria for lunch. After stopping by Grandmas Little Bakery for their Shakshuka and juices we decided to wander around the suburb to explore the back streets. We stumbled upon the cutest graffiti I've ever seen and opted for an impromtue photo shoot, Im not to sure who did this work but Im a big fan of it!

Enjoying a fresh apple juice.

Year One.

About a year ago I wrote this "When February finally rolls around and I make my way back to Australia I will hopefully be starting university, I say hopefully because I am stuck at a cross road at the moment and finding the idea of university and choosing courses in a different country quite daunting. It's safe to say that the next year of my life will provide me with many opportunities and changes that I wish to take on with everything I have to make the most of what is thrown my way. Although at the moment I am unsure on a few things, I know for sure that I will enjoy and appreciate this time. It's safe to say that I'll miss alot of things about a school life, however I am excited for what lies ahead."

It crazy what happens in a year, my life has gone from one side of the world to the other. Ive met many people and been to many places that ill never forget. When I got back to Sydney I did start university, studying a Bachelor of Public Relations and Advertising and finally started appreciating the finer things in life like being able to sit in the sun all day and just appreciate its warmth or being around my family and friends. I feel as though Ive also grown up a lot in the last year, I'm more independent and see the things I do as how they will effect not only me but those around me.

Recently Ive been stuck thinking if the choices Ive made for my life are the ones I actually wish to take, is this the path I want to travel? In reality I'm starting to think it isn't  I had always wanted to be working in PR for the glamour and what I thought the job was but Im starting to think that I don't actually want any of that. I had always hated school from an early age but now that Im finished with it I have realised just how important it was and how much of an impact my teachers had on me.

Anyway, the next six months will be used to find what it is I want and how I will get there. Hopefully I will work it all out.

Palm Beach Collection.

I've seen these candle popping up left, right and center recently so when I saw one the other day I just had to buy it! I picked up the "fig, cassis and mandarin" scent, which smells divine due to the strange flavour combination. It is a very refreshing scent to have as the crisp mandarin notes blend well with the fig. If you happen to see this or any of the palm beach collection candles make sure you buy one or alternatively you can check out their website to purchase. Let me tell you now, I will definitely be repurchasing one of these candles!

Language of Flowers.

After seeing these cute tank tops popping up everywhere I decided that I had to get my hands on one, so last week I finally decided which design I wanted and purchased my first Language of Flowers top. I went for the "forget me not" which features pale blue flowers wrapped around a skull on the white tank (it also comes on a grey tank). When it arrived I was delighted to find that attached to the swing tag was a packet of forget me not seeds that I can plant in my garden to match the top, and a sweet note from the designers Alexandra and Stephanie. You can find these tops online at http://www.ilovelof.com

What Next?!

After finally finishing school I have reached a point where decisions need to be made about what happens next! Now the summer months are jam packed with exciting adventures around the world, however after September I have nothing on the agenda. I have decided to treat the next few months as a time to provide myself with opportunities, the first of these will be my trips to Greece, Italy France and most importantly America! Whilst in America I have stumbled upon an internship opportunity at the Fashion Institute Gallery in Dallas, I am looking forward to this and pray that it turns out to be as great as I expect. Once returning to London I hope to possibly do an art or fashion short course and see as much of the London art scene as possible.

When February finally rolls around and I make my way back to Australia I will hopefully be starting university, I say hopefully because I am stuck at a cross road at the moment and finding the idea of university and choosing courses in a different country quite daunting. It's safe to say that the next year of my life will provide me with many opportunities and changes that I wish to take on with everything I have to make the most of what is thrown my way. Although at the moment I am unsure on a few things, I know for sure that I will enjoy and appreciate this time. It's safe to say that I'll miss alot of things about a school life, however I am excited for what lies ahead.

Recently I've reached the highest level of procrastination possible, as a result I've completely perfected my bedroom and left it absolutely spotless and organise so decided now is the perfect time to show it off! Here are a few images of the room, hope you enjoy a look into the place where much of my time is spent. *Note this post is picture heavy*
